South African Solar Tax Incentives
The South African government offers tax incentives to encourage solar adoption. Here is what you could qualify for.
Section 12B — Business Deduction
Businesses can write off 100% of the cost of qualifying solar PV assets in the first year under Section 12B. (The enhanced 125% allowance under Section 12BA applied only to assets brought into use before 1 March 2025.)
